We aim to solve the various problems and concerns of customers in a wide range of industries from a textile industry perspective, and are not limited to the categories of manufacturer or trading company.
However, we are still fundamentally a business that deals in textiles and threads, and our corporate activities are centered around the giant tree of textile and thread technology.
Sugita's manufacturing process
Sugita's primary product, sewing thread, is sourced from imported raw materials imported from Thailand, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, and China, as well as domestic spinning and synthetic fiber manufacturers. We purchase these raw materials in bulk containers and process them domestically under strict quality control. This process allows us to meet the demands of customers who desire high-quality products at low prices.
The twisting, dyeing, and finishing processes are carried out at domestic partner factories, enabling us to mass-produce high-quality products.
The processing flow consists of twisting, dyeing, and winding. However, depending on the product, we may also use processes such as mercerizing to add luster and smoothness, or gas-scoring to burn off the fuzz and create a glossy finish. The thread is
then transported to sewing thread wholesalers, craft stores and other retailers, mail-order companies, general sewing factories, trading companies, industrial materials companies (vehicles, agriculture, fisheries), and overseas companies, where it fulfills its role as thread. With our
extensive experience and track record in all aspects of textiles, from raw material procurement to product completion and sales, Sugita is uniquely positioned to solve customer problems and contribute to society.
